AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT: “EVER ORIGIN” Booth Selected for Short List & Young Talent Award at Japan’s Space Design Awards 2025

The joint exhibition booth “EVER ORIGIN”, designed by Atsushi Shindo and presented in collaboration with Koshin Planning Co., Ltd. at the trade fair JAPAN SHOP 2025, held in March 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight, has been selected for the Short List and has received the Young Talent Award at the Kukan Design Award 2025, Japan's biggest space design award competition.
The booth featured an installation themed around “A Single Grand Tree—strong yet delicately shimmering.” The work explored the inherent beauty of resin materials and the new value created by the wire-grip system. The monumental tree—measuring approximately 3 meters in diameter and 3.7 meters in height—was enveloped by more than 180 cellulose acetate resin pieces cascading like sap, all supported by over 600 diverse wire-grip system components.
